Conservation Efforts

Conservation & Stewardship

At The R.E.E.L. Project of California (TRP), conservation is an important part of every outdoor experience. We teach youth to respect and protect the places where we fish, learn, and explore through shoreline cleanups, responsible fishing practices, proper disposal of fishing line and trash, and respect for wildlife and natural habitats.

Our goal is to help young people understand that enjoying the outdoors also comes with the responsibility to care for it. By practicing conservation together, we develop leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and pride in our communities—while helping preserve California’s outdoor spaces for future generations.
